Peugeot has good news for motorists who are feeling the pinch as the costs of fuel, road tax and parking rise, because the French company has reduced the price of its budget V-Clic scooter. Not only has Peugeot cut the price of the popular V-Clic from £899 to £829, they have also introduced a special edition Silver Sport paint scheme at £869, which is £30 below the previous price of the basic model.
Powered by a proven 50cc 4-stroke engine, the Peugeot V-Clic is capable of returning 70-100 mpg and road tax (VED) costs a modest £15 per year. Parking for motorcycles and scooters is usually free and as increasing numbers of councils introduce parking restrictions for residents, space for a compact scooter like the V-Clic can often be found in a front garden. Weighing only 79KG, the V-Clic is as manoeuvrable in traffic as it is when fitting into a parking space and it can be ridden by anyone aged 16 or over.
The new Silver Sport version inherits all of the features that have made this model so successful - its low seat height (715mm) suits riders of all shapes and sizes and the 170mm front disc brake provides smooth and progressive stopping power. Stylish 10" alloy wheels complement the Siler Sport's paint scheme and graphics. A matching 32-litre top case and rack is available priced at £49.99 and this will provide increased carrying capacity in addition to the under seat storage.
Priced from £829 (£869 for the Silver Sport) the V-Clic scooter is available at Peugeot dealers throughout the UK and is covered by 2-year unlimited mileage warranty for peace of mind.
The above prices include 'On the Road' preparation. This includes manufacturer's delivery, pre delivery inspection, petrol, number plate and VAT at 17.5%. Government first registration fee and vehicle excise duty are not included and will be charged at the prevailing rate.
